At least ten alleged drug dealers were killed in a reported gunfight with RAB and police members in Bagerhat, Chattogram, Cox’s Bazar, Noakhali, Mymensingh, Meherpur, Chandpur, Noakhali, Khulna, Thakurgaon and Kushtia in the early hours of Sunday. Among the deceased, Teknaf municipality ward-3 councillor Ekramul Haque was also killed. A total of 70 people, suspecting as drug peddlers, were killed in reported gunfight during anti-narcotics drives across country.
