Three of a family were killed and six others injured in a collision between a bus and two battery-run auto-rickshaws on Dhaka-Kuakata highway in Amtoli upazila of Barguna on Saturday. The deceased were identified as Nupur, 25, her son Hasib, 10, and niece Lamia, 14. The incident took place around 11am. Confirming the news, Amtoli Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md Abul Bashar said: "A Kuakata-bound bus hit two battery-run auto rickshaws, leaving the trio dead on the spot."
