Four people, including three of a family, were killed and at least 40 villages were rumpled due to tornado in Joypurhat. The deceased were identified as Shilpi Begum, 28, wife of day labourer Joynal Abedin, their sons Newaz, 8, Niamul, 3, and Mariam Begum, 70. The tornado stroke the area around 11 pm on Tuesday. At least 40 villages have been devastated due to the tornado. Poultry farms, houses, trees have been critically affected. DC Mohammad Zakir Hossain said: "After 10 pm on Tuesday, the tornado arose and affected the whole district. The whole area has been out of electricity since last night.
