Four members of a family were killed by lightning strike in Chandpur district town on Sunday. The deceased were identified as Wahida Begum, her daughter Rehena Begum, her grand son Sabbir and grand daugher Samia. Local sources said thunderbolt struck the four when they were moving amid rain in Borostation Molhad area around 1:30pm, leaving them injured. Critically injured four were taken to Chandpur Hopsital where the on-duty doctors declared them dead.
