Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader said that his party does not agree with banning student politics. "We do not support banning student politics. Those who will engage in any misdeeds in the name of student politics, to be brought under the ambit of law," he said. Talking to journalists at Rajshahi Circuit House on Sunday, Obaidul Quader, also the Road Transport and Bridges Minister, said, "Cutting head to cure headache is not a solution." The minister is scheduled to join the meeting of the divisional party representatives in Rajshahi. Earlier, he was given a guard of honour on the Circuit House premises.
