The Appellate Division started the trial proceedings under closed-circuit cameras on Wednesday. Chief Justice Syed Mahmud Hossain started the trial work in the courtroom this morning under the cameras, the first ever for the country. Earlier on Tuesday, eight CC cameras have been set up in the courtroom to detect persons who will try to create unpleasant incident inside it. The Supreme Court administration took the decision to set up CC cameras after the pro-BNP lawyers created an unprecedented chaos in the courtroom on December 5 over BNP chief Khaleda Zia's bail hearing.
