Ferry service on Doulatdia-Paturia route has been restarted after almost four and a half hours' halt due to dense fog. The ferry route has resumed around 9:30 am which was suspended at 6 am today to reduce the possibility of accidents. Sources from the Doulatdia ghat of the Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Corporation (BIWTC) have confirmed the news. Mahbub Hossain, manager of Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Corporation (BIWTC) of Doulatdia ghat, said: "The ferry service was suspended since 6 am today so that any chance of any accident due to dense fog might be avoided. Ferry service has resumed at 10:20 am with the fog clearing."
