A six years old girl was violated by a man at Kapashati village in Harinakunda upazila in the district on Friday. The victim was admitted to Jhenidah Sadar Hospital in severe condition. Victim’s mother said their neighbour Asif Ali, son of Ayub Ali, took the girl to quite place and raped her. After returning back home, the victim fell sick, she added. Tarek Al Mehedi, senior assistant superintendent of Shilakupa police said they were trying to arrest the offender.
