Ferry service on Paturia-Daulatdia route has been disrupted since this morning due to dense fog. The ferry service has been obstructed from 2:15 am. Confirming the news, DGM of Aricha sector of Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Corporation (BIWTC) Zillur Rahman said: "The ferry service has been suspended to avoid accidents as the density of fog suddenly increased to an extent that the ray of marking light turned almost invisible." The suspension has caused long queues of vehicles ob both sides of Paturia and Daulatdia. Ferry service will resume at the moment the situation turns friendly.
