A police official died of mosquito-borne disease dengue at a hospital in Dhaka early Wednesday. Kohinur Begum, 33, a sub-inspector of Special Branch (SB) of police, was brought to Mohammadpur City Hospital from Rajarbagh Police Lines Hospital on July 29 in a critical condition. She died at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the hospital around 1:15am where she had been kept since her admission. Kohinur Begum was a resident of Bhuapur of Tangail.
